- Puranik Engineers was founded in memory of Late Shri. S. V. Puranik (B. E. Civil), who in the year 1945 retired from the services of HH Indore. He was awarded the highest engineering award (Stanford Award by the British Government) for services rendered in the construction of Yashwant Sagar Dam, a primary source of drinking water for Indore. His son, Shri. A. S.Puranik (B.E.Civil), continued in his father’s footsteps and executed several landmark projects like Narbada Jal Pariyojana, which now supplies water to three districts of M.P Mr. Vidyanand Puranik (B.E. Civil) continues the tradition from 1993. Which began 70 years back by involving himself in works that are instrumental in shaping modern India.
